Très groovy

“[We] really likes the sounds these Parisians make. Orouni remind me of London’s hipster indie iconoclasts The Leisure Society, with a similar mix of strings and wind instruments – très groovy. Their mix of minimalism and lush arrangements also recall The Velvet Underground, Leonard Cohen, Supergrass, Belle and Sebastian, and (…) The Zombies!”

Orouni - Pas De Merde

Infectious

I am actually fairly picky with live sessions in non-studio settings. Sometimes it’s more endearing to *not* sound exactly like the studio recording, and the more creatively that is done, the better. But also, the setting itself has to lend to the filming, or I’m left unsatisfied. That’s why La Blogotheque has been a longtime favorite with few cherished others.
With that, I present Orouni’s Le Cargo session. It’s adorable, imperfect, and infectious.

Thank you Sawdust and Gin!
